Comprehensive Plan Open House – 12PM
Feb 15
12:00 pm
The community is invited to attend a Comprehensive Plan Open House hosted by the City of Kyle on Wednesday, Feb. 15 from 12-3 p.m. at Fire Station No. 2, 150 Bunton Creek Rd.
This a come-and-go style event where residents will have the opportunity to provide feedback on each quadrant of the city. Including housing, density, non-residential developments, vacant properties and more. City staff will be available for questions throughout the event.
This Open House is part of the City of Kyle’s Comprehensive Plan update. A comprehensive plan is a foundational document that provides rationale for decision-making, recommendations for policy and budgeting, and an examination of the overall picture of the city.
A city needs a comprehensive plan in order to plan for physical, economic and societal growth. They help provide continuity as changes, like staffing or unprecedented growth, impact a city. It also creates a way for cities to be much more proactive to those changes.
The community plays an integral part in creating this plan. Your feedback is key to crafting a comprehensive plan that reflects the challenges that residents are facing as well as what they would like to see prioritized in the community.
